Ira Trivedi is an internationally acclaimed author and yoga acharya. She has written eight books, including fiction, nonfiction and children’s books.
Her books have been published by leading publishers in India and abroad. Ira has also won the UK Media Award, the New Indian Express Devi Women’s Award and many more. Ira is also among BBC’s 100 most influential women in the world. She is invited frequently to give speeches about gender and culture on news channels around the world.
Ira has two yoga shows in India, including Door Darshan National and India Today. She is also the founder of Yog Love, leading yoga studios and Namami Yoga, a charity that
teaches yoga to underprivileged children in India. Ira has lived in four countries, nine cities and three continents. She graduated from Wellesley College in Massachusetts in the US and completed her MBA at Columbia Business School, where she won the prestigious Feldberg Fellowship. Ira currently lives in New Delhi.
